The humble marking gauge

This is the modern take on a classic tool. The gauge has a smooth, lightweight, regal-red aluminum body which is easy to see on a busy workshop bench.

The gauge scribes parallel lines up to 130mm apart.

With the tungsten carbide scribing wheel at one end, the calibrated measuring bar is laser etched for accuracy and clear visibility. The overall length of the bar is 150mm.

By sliding the bar to the absolute end, the scoring wheel can be tucked into the recessed groove of the handle to protect the blade when not in use.
