Description
Extol® Premium160A professional welding inverters with computer control are second-generation welding machines for MMA and TIG welding methods, in which modern microprocessor IGBT technology is used. The inverter is equipped with a clear control panel with LED display with the displayed set value of welding current and is very easy to operate. Thanks to sophisticated electronics, the welding current can be set very precisely to units of amperes. The welding inverter can also be used with a special welding cable equipped with a hose for connection to a tank of argon shielding gas and a TIG torch with a tungsten electrode. This method is very effective for welding stainless steel and steels in particular, cast iron, copper, titanium and nickel. The inverter is equipped with the following functions: HOT START - facilitates the ignition of the arc by the initial automatic increase of the ignition current compared to the originally set value of the welding current ARC FORCE - stabilization of the ignited welding arc during welding depending on the length of the welding arc. If the electrode sticks when the arc is shortened, the inverter will increase the current. In the case of a long arc, the inverter reduces the current, creating time for the electrode to approach the material without the arc extinguishing ANTI STICK - automatic reduction of welding current to a minimum (approx. 10A) if the electrode sticks, causing the electrode to cool and easy to tear off LIFT TIG(when setting the TIG welding method) - for igniting the electric arc by moving the tungsten electrode away from the surface of the welded part. This method significantly contributes to electromagnetic compatibility and minimizes the occurrence of tungsten inclusions and electrode wear.
